Wafaa Delivers Kidney Stone Lithotripsy Device to Al-Amal Hospital in Jenin

As part of its ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian health sector, Wafaa Microfinance and Capacity Building has delivered a kidney stone lithotripsy machine to Al-Amal Hospital in Jenin Governorate, with a total value of $285,000. This project was generously funded by International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) in Kuwait.

The machine has been installed and is now operational, contributing to enhanced kidney and urological treatment services and improving the quality of healthcare provided to patients in northern West Bank.

This intervention comes in response to the hospital’s growing needs amidst the current challenges and difficult circumstances in Palestine. The medical staff has begun a specialized training program to use the machine, ensuring that highly efficient medical services are provided in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety.

Wafaa reaffirms its commitment to sustaining its support and empowering the Palestinian health sector, contributing to improved access to essential medical services for the most vulnerable people. At the same time, Wafaa expresses its deep appreciation for the role of the State of Kuwait, its leadership, government and people, for their continued efforts in supporting the Palestinian people.
