Wafaa Microfinance and Capacity Building Foundation continues its humanitarian interventions across the West Bank through the provision of 23 electric wheelchairs for children with disabilities and medical supplies valued at ILS 150,000 in Hebron Governorate. Wafaa also also implemented health and humanitarian relief initiatives in Tubas, Qalqilya, and Ramallah.

A delegation from Wafaa Microfinance and Capacity Building, headed by Mr. Mohasin Atawneh, visited Hebron Governorate as part of its ongoing efforts to support national institutions and strengthen the resilience of the most vulnerable communities.

During the visit, Wafaa provided 23 electric wheelchairs to disabled children and school students, based on nominations by Hebron’s Governor, Mr. Khaled Dudin. This initiative aims to enhance their mobility, facilitate access to education, and enable them to carry out their daily activities with dignity, independence, and greater inclusion.

The delegation also visited Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron to assess its most pressing medical needs. In response, Wafaa provided essential medicines and medical supplies valued at ILS 150,000 to support the hospital’s capacity to continue delivering critical healthcare services amid the severe challenges facing the Palestinian health sector.

To emphasize Wafaa’s vision and national humanitarian mission, this initiative comes in support of health and educational institutions, to bring hope to disabled people, and to strengthen Palestinians’ steadfastness all over Palestinian governorates.

Wafaa reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the implementation of humanitarian and development programs that serve the Palestinian people, strengthen partnerships with national institutions, improve the quality of services provided to vulnerable groups, and contribute to enhancing the resilience and well-being of Palestinian communities.
