Wafaa Joins International Conference on Palestinian Children's Rights
A delegation from Wafaa Development and Capacity Building participated in the International Conference on “The Role of the International Community and Civil Society Organizations in Promoting, Respecting, and Supporting the Rights of Palestinian Children,” held over two days, November 20–21, in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The conference, which brought together key actors from across the region and beyond, served as a vital platform to discuss the escalating challenges faced by Palestinian children living under occupation and siege, especially in light of the ongoing war on Gaza and the psychological, social, and economic toll it has taken on young lives.
Wafaa’s participation came at the invitation of the Palestinian Minister of Social Development, in recognition of the organization’s commitment to child protection, psychosocial support, and community resilience in Palestine.
This engagement aligns with Wafaa’s mission to amplify the voices of the most vulnerable and advocate for sustained, rights-based humanitarian interventions for Palestinian children.
