Wafaa Launches “Kuwait Al-Rahma 3” Convoy in Celebration of Kuwait’s National Holidays

Wafaa for Development and Capacity Building, in cooperation with Al-Rahma International Society in Kuwait, launched the “Kuwait Al-Rahma 3” convoy in celebration of Kuwait’s national holidays. The event was attended by Mr. Nasser Qatami, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Arab and Islamic Funds. The convoy included 10 trucks loaded with food parcels, blankets, and heating supplies.

General Manager of Wafaa Foundation, Mr. Mohasin A. Atawneh, expressed his deep gratitude to the State of Kuwait—its prince, government, and people—and especially to Al-Rahma International Society and its leadership for their generous and ongoing support of their brothers in Palestine. He also extended his congratulations to the State of Kuwait on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of its National Day.

For his part, Dr. Nasser Qatami conveyed his heartfelt thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prince of Kuwait, to Sheikh Yahya Al-Oqeili, Chairman of Al-Rahma International Society, and to the Kuwaiti people for their continued support and solidarity with their Palestinian brothers. He emphasized that this convoy is part of Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people and strengthen their resilience through relief, development, and other forms of aid.

Mr. Mohasin A. Atawneh further explained that Wafaa Foundation regularly organizes such convoys with the support of the State of Kuwait and its generous people. He expressed his appreciation for their continued support of the Palestinian people, especially given the difficult circumstances facing Palestine.

The aid-loaded trucks were directed to affected Palestinian refugee camps in the central and northern West Bank, targeting poor and affected families.
