Discover Who We Are
Wafaa International Group was established in 2012 following the recommendations of the International Humanitarian Conference. The organization was created with the goal of supporting victims of conflict, assisting refugees, and contributing to capacity building in affected communities.
In 2014, Wafaa opened its office in Palestine and was officially registered as a non-profit association. Headquartered in Ramallah, the organization now operates three regional offices in the West Bank—covering the central (Ramallah), northern (Nablus), and southern (Hebron) areas—as well as one in the Gaza Strip. This local presence allows Wafaa to respond more effectively to community needs on the ground.
In 2021, Wafaa International was granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) — a milestone that enhanced its ability to participate in global dialogues and actively contribute to achieving international development goals.
